Mijas Costa isn’t one place so much as a long string of urbanizations along the coast road between Fuengirola and Marbella — townhouses, low-rise apartment blocks, and villa communities that all have their own name and their own feel. A large share of residents are Northern European, many of them here full-time or for large parts of the year.
